“Mùa thu thác Bản Giốc” – Ban Gioc waterfall in autumn (Võ Hoàng Vũ)

This was the greatest moment of autumn, the amazing and fortunate moment for me. I wanted to express softness of the waterfall, mellow of autumn colors, but still capture entirely the mountain to show solidity and steadiness,. That was harmonization between ying and yang.

“Lập An soi bóng” - Lap An reflects (Nguyễn Xuân Duy)
This photo was taken in a fully sunny day in autumn. I and my friends, who indulges in landscape photography, had to catch bus early to transfer from Đà Nẵng to Huế. After shooting some photos about bright dawn in Lập An marsh, with scenes of market activities in the midst of the marsh, children going along their parents to collect fish and others, our groups prepared to leave. Suddenly, I looked back, clouds on high seemed to be rushing down and embracing entirely the mountain behind the marsh. The water surface became bluer, clearer and calmer as there was no fishing boats of fisherman. Just a small canoe lying solitarily among the marsh fell into the picture and became the foreground for the infinite space of the mountain and the marsh behind. By chance, I found that human was so small and lonely before being spectacular and grandeur of nature.

“Thắng cảnh Gành Đá Đĩa” – Ganh Da Dia beauty-spot (Huỳnh Lê Viễn Duy)
Ganh Da Dia is a famous natural landscape that is breathtaking about scenery and unique about geology. It is located in An Ninh Đông commune, Tuy An district, Phú Yên province.
Gành Đá Đĩa is a set of prismatic stone pillars placed adjacently, one pillar connects to another adjoining with wave and sea water. The reef spreads widely and pillars are very close to each other. All have the same of a mysterious black. These pillars, some are vertical, some tilt crookedly, but all still heap up into numerous layers like piles of bowls and plates; so the beauty-spot was called as “Ganh Da Dia” (“đá” means stone and “đĩa” means plate). Regarding from a far distance, this reef looks like a natural beehive that is mammoth and wonderful.

“Hà Nội mùa thu” – Hanoi in autumn (Đào Việt Hùng)
“On a day off work, I got up early and wandered around streets of Hanoi. I stopped at Hoàn Kiếm lake, where I felt clearly of what belonged to fall in Hanoi. In this space, I suddenly encountered a familiar frame. However, that day was strange. Turtle Tower loomed in embrace of a green flamboyant branch, something was lush and cool that differed to others normally seen such as Turtle Tower with dry leafless trees, or fog spreads with two colors black and white that usually brings a serene feeling. A little of early sunshine made water surface reflect a bit of golden light that made me feel an animated, lush and soft autumn.”

“The photo was shot in Ba Sào, Hà Nam province, near Phủ Lý city in a late afternoon full of emotion. This is a charming landscape. In afternoon, it has lots of mist spreading that make the scenery become vague. On water surface, there is a long-standing trunk of tree submerged. It was died because of flood, but still stand superbly. The fisherman with an unsteady light quietly casted net. All created for me a feeling hard to describe. I shot and completed this photo.”

“The photo was shot when the third storm (Kalmaegi) had just passed by the North and left a cold air, fog and cloud stretched and covered entirely the mountain area. A trip of hunting photo lasting over 10 days brought me to sacred lands of my country. I spent a whole of an afternoon to roam on sloping roads and passes. I decided to stop here, waited for chances and hoped for a slim ray of sunshine. And then God rewarded for me a very stunning sunbeam of twilight. Everything created a majestic wonderland as heaven on earth that made me name for this photo as Hoang Su Phi Empyrean.”

“Non nước hữu tình” – Charming mountains and water (Đỗ Tuyết Trinh)
The photo was shot in the end of May, 2014, in a trip of visiting Tam Cốc – Bích Động with determination of conquering the most beautiful and difficult shot-angle. The author had to travel by boat, waded through many fields and ditches to reach a cave, then hanging on to slippery and sharp cliffs so as to climb to the highest point of the mountain. At here, the author encountered the imposing and poetic beauty of Ngô Đồng river meandering like a soft silk among rice fields that were starting to be harvested. Karst mountains undulated the two sides like copper ramparts for fields and the gentle river, which led boats of tourist going visiting.
